PISTON U CUP SEALS

U cups are an integral part of a piston or cylinder sealing system.  This permits the dynamic sealing lip to have a heavier cross section for an improved high pressure capability.  Also, the outer lip is longer, to give better stability during installation and protection the dynamic sealing lip.  Their unique U-shaped profile safeguards the pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder.
